So now that this is an official company, I'm looking to get a business card. This opens up a world dizzying possibilities. Any recommendations based on your experience? I think at this stage the bar for my actual "needs" is set pretty low. I don't have employees with cards, I don't travel a lot for work, and I don't have a fleet of vehicles that need gas. Mostly I need a credit card to put on file with my various suppliers. Thoughts?
They're all a scam in the end. That said, I do like my American Express cash back card. They give you 1% on everything and 5% on gas and office supplies. It seems half the gas stations find a way to classify themselves as minimarts to avoid the higher percentage, but AMEX automatically credits you the 1% every month. No registering or requesting or "hey, we'll give it back when you hit $25". Simple and no fee.
ReplyDeleteI'd start with that unless you rack up a lot of expenditures, in which case other cards (like airlines ones) will treat you like a prince when you fly with them (or in my measly brush with grandeur: Economy Plus)
